Frequently asked questions
How do I buy theatre tickets in Sri Lanka?
Choose an event on GatePlus, pick your tickets or seats, and pay in LKR by card, LankaQR or online banking. Your e-ticket appears instantly in your GatePlus wallet.
Are GatePlus tickets official?
Yes. Every organizer and event is verified before it goes on sale, and each ticket has a rotating QR code that is validated at the gate — screenshots and copies won't work.
Can I resell or transfer my ticket?
Yes — transfer to a friend in the app, or list it on official resale where prices are capped by the organizer. Avoid tickets sold on WhatsApp or social media; they can't be verified.
